Tyreel Stud look to once again have a promising filly on the books in the shape of the David Hayes trained Free Spirited.
By current boom stallion Fastnet Rock, the filly is out of the Rubiton mare Impulsive Rhythm. A stalwart of the Tyreel broodmare band for many years, Impulsive Rhythm was sold at the 2007 Magic Millions Broodmare Sale in foal to Starcraft to respected New Zealand agent Paul Beamish.
Free Spirited was the last filly out of the mare before she was sold, and was retained to race by Tyreel boss Dean Fleming.
Having raced on three occasions for two impressive wins, the filly appears to have a fair share of ability and a Stakes-race start would not be out of question at any time in the near future.
Being a half-sister to Hong Kong G1-winner King Of Danes, from the family of Stakes winners Savana City, Mr Vitality, Rose O’ War, Gunnamatta and Danehill Express, the filly will command much residual value upon her retirement to the Tyreel Broodmare band once her racing career is over.
